Cristina Treppo
Cristina Treppo lives and works in Udine. After a study leave in Berlin (1999) and a workshop with Luciano Fabro (2000), she graduated in Painting from the Fine Arts Academy in Venice, specializing in Visual Arts and Disciplines of Spectacle. She has taken in various exhibitions (“techné/pittura_ricerca”, Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, Venice, 2004; “Atelier Aperti” and “Controluce” at the 51 st Venice Biennal, 2005; “Selezione Premio ARTE/Cairo Communication”, Palazzo della Permanente, Milan, 2005; “Views from Venice”, The Centre for Book Arts, New York, 2005; “Atelier Aperti Work in Progress”, Fondaco Marcello, Venice, 2005; “Selezione Premio Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro International Competition for Young Sculptors”, Milan, 2006) and solo exhibitions (“Metamorfosi”, Udine, 2001; “Fioriture Artificiali”, Venice, 2004, and “Paesaggi/Landscapes”, Venice, 2005).
