Venice Portal
“Portale di Venezia”® (Venice Portal) is a project born of the combination of several web sites dedicated to Venice and developed by OMNIA OFFICE sas, a Venetian-born company started in 1998 thanks to the financial support of the Venice Town Council, which has recognized the innovation of the project proposal by the two founders of the company.
The project “Portale di Venezia®” has been created in accordance with SIAE (Italian Society of Writers and Editors) 19/12/2000 (number 0005367 of repertoire) and is comprised of the following web sites:
- portaledivenezia.it – official site for Portale di Venezia®;
- carnivalofvenice.com – popular site for the Venice Carnival, official site since 2001 and media partner of Carnival 2006;
- guestinvenice.com – guide to the city of Venice;
- made-in-venice.com – electronic commerce of products by Venetian artisans.
- apartmentsinvenice.com – promotion of houses in Venice.
As guardian of this initiative, the company, OMNIA OFFICE sas, has registered and trademarked: “Portale di Venezia”, “Carnivalofvenice.com”, “Guest in Venice”, “Made in Venice”.
Important characteristics of the portal for the city of Venice that make it unique in the field: the support of a journalistic publication (Fullpress, an enrolled agency in the registry of the Stampa del Tribunale di Potenza n. 258 – 25/02/99), the property of a publishing house specializing in multimedia works and above all the invaluable collaboration with Venetian journalist Federica Repetto.
